About Us

Producer: Sue Scott Davison

Following a twenty five year career as an actress, Sue became a producer in 2003. She established Scott Davison Productions and its sister company, Lifeblood Theatre Company, with the aim of producing high quality commissioned and established texts for both commercial and subsidised theatre.

Productions include, Two Way Mirror (2006, Theatre Museum), Future Me (2007, Theatre 503), which was revived in 2009 (UK Tour & Only Connect, London) and Love of A Good Woman (2009),  produced as part of the Newbury Corn Exchange’s Evolve project, which promotes the development of artists and new work. We are currently co-producing The Railway Children at Waterloo Station, opening on July 4 2010.

Liberty by Glyn Maxwell, was comissioned and developed for Lifeblood Theatre Company and co-produced with Shakespeare’s Globe (2008), followed by a national tour. Other shows for Lifeblood include, The Lifeblood (Edinburgh, 2004), which was voted best performance and play by The British Theatre Guide and was revived as part of the British Council Showcase (Edinburgh & Riverside, 2005). Glyn Maxwell’s Blind Eye Crying will be co-produced with the Onassis Programme in 2011.

Sue was awarded a Stage One New Producer’ s Bursary in support of her work with Lifeblood Theatre Co, and has won a Meridian Theatre Interact Award for the development and production of Liberty.
